about
I'm okay with a long silence in conversation. People tend to find it awkward though, and I don't want them to think I'm bored or impatient, so I usually beatbox a little as a way to fill the space. I hope it lets them know I'm perfectly content with not having much to say.
Also, I think it would be nice to go to mars when I'm very old, so I can die there. That would mean I could go to my own funeral, which would be like a farewell party with my loved ones. Instead of a moment of silence, I think it would be nice to have people beatbox together, everyone contributing their own drum sound. A moment of beatbox, if you will.
lyrics
I bet you're wondering why I have asked you all to come
Pay your respects if you have some
Pay up and then stop talking
Give me a moment of
Give me a moment of
When I've outgrown my face and I've been shot with a gun at space, you'll gather everyone
Stop talking!
Stop talking!
Give me a moment of
I need a moment of
Give me a moment of
Give me a moment of
I need a moment of
Can I get a moment?
Just a moment's enough
The timing is all wrong
You've finished what you're saying
I promise I'm not bored, just out of things to say back to you
My story wasn't long enough to fill the spaces
We've got some time to spill so keep talking!
Keep talking!
My mouth is getting dry
You're looking somewhere probably
It's not that big a deal, just give me a moment of it
Honor my wishes and give me a moment of mouth noises
The kick and the snare fill the silences
You take me the wrong way when it's not there so don't start talking
I wish you'd give me a second of mouth noises to dance to while it sets in
I take my time, you take me the wrong way
But I feel fine so don't start talking yet
